Born: October 18, 1957 at Vernal, Utah
Parents: Elden & Lena (Ploutz) Schultz
Rodney graduated from Atchison High School in 1975 and worked in Maintenance at the Aluminum Foundry in Atchison. In 1980 he moved to Garden City and worked as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Fabrication Department for Monfort and later Tyson Beef Plants. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and was well known as a jokester. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother- Randy Schultz & Sister- Barbara Lynn Schultz.
