Holcomb- Argy Bell Wilson, 98, died on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Homestead Assisted Living in Garden City. She was born on June 4, 1919 at Berlin, Oklahoma the daughter of Archie & Ruby (Davis) Brownlee. She married Merl F. Wilson on October 31, 1937 at Elk City, Oklahoma. He died on September 16, 2008.

Argy Bell grew up in Sayre, Oklahoma and graduated high school there. She was a farm wife and she and her husband moved to Holcomb in 1950. After her children were raised she went to Beauty School in Dodge City and after graduating was a owner-operator of Holcomb Beauty Shop and later Wilson Beauty Shop in Holcomb for 25 years. She enjoyed being outdoors doing yard work and taking care of her flowers and gardens. She also enjoyed sewing and had been a 4-H Leader while her children were in the clubs. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Daughter- Ruby Janell Wilson, Grandson- Mark Kaiser & 3 Brothers- Dale, Harold & Glen who died on the same day as she did.

Survivors are 2 Daughters- Shirley Kaiser of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Merlene & Hollis Pettz of Kearny, Missouri, 5 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren & 17 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Kelly Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Homestead Assisted Living in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
