Esthela Davila, 61, died Saturday November 11, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born January 11, 1956 at Villanueva, Zacatecas, Mexico to Gilberto & Ramona (Davila) Reyes.

Mrs. Davila was born and raised in Mexico. She married Pablo Davila on January 6, 1975, in Villanueva, Mexico as well. He survives. They started their family in Mexico before moving to Garden City in October of 1993. She was a good mother, great cook, and faithful Catholic. Her hobbies included watching novelas and listening to the radio.

Other survivors include 2 sons, Omero Davila Reyes of Garden City, Kansas & Horacio Davila Reyes of Chicago, Illinois; her father, Gilberto Reyes, 5 siblings, Francisco Reyes, Agueda Reyes, Alvaro Reyes, Sandra Reyes & Leonardo Reyes; 5 grandchildren, and additional extended family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Reyes & brother, Jorge Reyes.

A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday November 13, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday November 14, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City with Father Juan Salas as Celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date in Mexico. Friends may call from 3:00 -6:00 pm on Monday November 13, 2017 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
