Mr Cruz was born in Mexico but lived most of his life in Arizona and Kansas, proudly becoming a naturalized US Citizen on December 15, 1998. He was a hardworking man of many trades. He was a plumber, mechanic but his main profession was electrician. His first job was working for his future father in law Erasmo Jaramillo. That is where he met his future bride and love of his life. He loved tinkering with cars, many times dismantling them and letting his children figure out how to put them back together. His hobbies included fishing, camping and listening to “Radio Canon”. He will be remembered for his “remedies caseros” that could cure anything and his love for his dog “Pinto”. Although he had a very stern demeanor his children knew he loved them and only wanted them to be self-sufficient

A family Mass and Burial will take place at a later date in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns Arizona.
