Mr Herrera was born and raised in Mexico. He courted and married Maria Elena in Mexico. Once they started a family he worked very hard to provide for them. He first came to the United States in 1971 and brought his complete family over in 1982. He was employed for BPI for 20 years before retiring to return to raising farm animals. He had green thumb and fulfilled Maria Elena’s wishes for a beautiful rose garden by filling his home with them. His children and grandchildren are grateful to have spent his last birthday with him at his surprise birthday party on August 5.
